Week Two - Day Eight continued

At 5pm we started an hour long boat ride around Loch Ness on the Nessie Hunter. George Edwards the skipper, recorded the greatest known depth of Loch Ness at 812 feet or 248 metres in 1987 - a part of the Loch now known as "Edwards Deep". Water visibility is almost zero, due to the peat content of the water.
